Babar’s captaincy skills, individual performance polishing with time: Misbah
LAHORE , APRIL 09 : Pakistan team s Head Coach Misbah-ul-Haq on Thursday said that men in green skipper Babar Azam is polishing his captaincy skills with time and his individual performance is commendable as well.
Addressing a press conference through video link on Thursday, he said that the victory in the ODI series against South Africa will prove good for the men in green, however, we need players in the middle order and lower order who can score, our spinners will have to perform better, as the next two World Cups are to be held in India.
The head coach said that the fast bowlers played an important role during the series, Faheem Ashraf deserves to be in the team, giving opportunities to young players.
Referring to the individual performance of the players, he said that Shadab Khan s performance was not good, while Fakhr Zaman has proved himself, and scored runs while batting in his own style. Given the opportunities, Sarfraz Ahmed will be fed in the middle order.
