GUJRANWALA, FEB 5 (DNA) – Director General Public Relations Punjab Saman Rai has said that a comprehensive strategy has been formulated to modernize the public relations department.

She expressed these views while addressing an introductory function. Director General Public Relations Punjab said, the role of the department is significant in publicizing government decisions, policies and various public welfare schemes.

Training programs and refresher courses will be launched to enhance the capacity of the officers of the department, he said, adding that the public relations department is the most important institution to fulfill its responsibilities at all times.

Director General Saman Rai said even in the most difficult of circumstances, the officers of the department have rendered excellent services.  Timely delivery of information will be ensured at all costs by adapting the public relations department to modern requirements.

Director General Public Relations Saman Rai said the officers of the department have performed valuable duties in the most difficult of circumstances. Soon the department will be provided state-of-the-art facilities and timely access to information through media will be made possible.

Director General Saman Rai said that training programs would be launched to enhance the capacity of the officers of the department to make the public aware of government decisions, policies and public welfare schemes in a timely manner so that they meet the requirements of modern times.=DNA
