England’s proposed tour to Pakistan in January postponed: Reports
Karachi : England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have consulted with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to postpone their proposed tour to the country in January next year on grounds of increasing cost and players’ availability.
According to ESPNcricinfo, both the boards have agreed to postpone England’s tour to Pakistan until September or October next year. ECB told PCB that their team has to play Sri Lanka and India during that time whereas their star players are also lined up to play Big Bash League (BBL).
As a result, they will be able to send a team missing their main players out which their board members are not agreed on.
It must be noted here that PCB invited ECB to play three T20Is in Pakistan in January next year as a reciprocal tour.
