Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan says unanimity and positive role of all political parties on the Army Amendment Act is reflection of high-level parliamentary democratic values.

In a tweet on Wednesday, she said the magnificent demonstration of political harmony and national solidarity is an unequivocal message to the foes of Pakistan that Pakistani nation is united to protect national interest and important matters.

She stressed the need for further promoting and advancing the atmosphere of harmony and solidarity in the best interest of Pakistan and the situation in the region.

She expressed hope that reconciliatory approach will also be seen in the Senate.
