ISLAMABAD, OCT 29 (DNA) – The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan Ali Alizda has been decorated with prestigious The Order ‘ For Merit to the homeland” award by the decree of the President of Azerbaijan.

Deputy Foreign Minister presented the award to the ambassador in a simple but impressive ceremony.

Ambassador of Azerbaijan after getting the award thanked his president for reposing trust in him. He said it was indeed a great achievement for him.

Ever since his posting in Pakistan, Ambassador Alizada has contributed greatly towards promoting and strengthening bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.

He along with his embassy staff has been hosting numerous events including charity ones under the banner of Heyder Aliyev foundation.=DNA
