UAE offers assistance for earthquake-hit areas
ISLAMABAD, SEPT 26 (DNA) Ambassador of United Arab Emirates Hamad Obaid Alzaabi, under the directions from Abu Dhabi, has contacted the Pakistan authorities to extend support for the quake-hit areas.
In his Twitter message, the UAE ambassador announced that his government had directed him to get in touch with the Pakistan authorities and get full details.
The ambassador said that they were currently assessing the needs with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) of Pakistan and once the details are gathered, UAE will then immediately provide relief assistance.
It may be mentioned here that UAE has always stood by Pakistan at difficult times. Relationship between the two brotherly countries is strengthening with the each passing day.=DNA
