PM forms task force to improve social, economic system
ISLAMABAD, SEPT 07 (DNA) – Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) led federal government has decided to form a task to improve social and economic system in the country. The task force has been formed on the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
As per details, six member task force be led by Dr Javed Asghar include Kamran Lashari, Saleem Ghouri and Dr Ikram.
Sources said a member would be elected by PM Imran and joint secretary of PM office would be the secretary of the task force. 8 point terms of references (ToRs) have also been finalized for the task force.
As per ToRs, the task force would develop low cost welfare projects for citizens along with devising plans for the better performance of government departments. Additionally, task force would also work on formulating low cost businesses.
The task force would also work on research and development for industrial and public sectors. It would provide complete mechanism for business projects.
Cabinet division has issued a notification and all federal and provincial secretaries have been informed in this regard.=DNA
