Toppling govt, a mere dream of opposition: Ch Sarwar
LAHORE, JUL 27 (DNA) – Punjab Governor Chaudhary Sarwar has said on Saturday that toppling the incumbent government – of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would be a mere dream of the opposition and Sadiq Sanjrani would be re-elected as the chairman of the Senate.
In his talk to the media at the Jinnah Hospital, Lahore, the governor asserted that the general public would decide about the [achievements and progress] of the government after five years.
“If [we] don’t get to form the government again, we will go home,” he said, adding that the members of the Senate were free to chose whomsoever they will to elect as the chairman of the House.
He stated that the accountability was being done by institutions of Pakistan, and taking back an air-conditioner from [the prison] of Nawaz Sharif was not decided.=DNA
