India says it never asked President Trump for mediation on Kashmir
NEW DELHI, (DNA) -India has denied that it ever asked President for mediation on Kashmir.
Reacting to President Trum p assertion on Kashmir, the spokesman of Indian external affairs ministry said PM Modi never asked Trump to mediate on Kashmir.
The spokesman said it has been India’s consistent position that all outstanding issues with Pakistan are discussed only bilaterally.
The Simla agreement and Lahore declaration provide the basis to resolve all issues between India and Pakistan, the spokesman further said. DNA
