SIALKOT (DNA) – Fire erupted at a godown of Sports Market situated at Deputy Bagh area of Sialkot on Friday which spread very quickly and engulfed several other shops in the market.

Seven Rescue 1122 vehicles and heavy contingent of police reached the spot after being informed and brought the fire under control after a hectic effort of four hours.

Rescue sources said that no casualty was reported in the incident, however, valuables worth million of rupees were destroyed by the fire. Rescue sources also informed that the fire was caused due to short-circuit.
