Urdu language learning classes launched in France
PARIS, JUN 09 (DNA) – The Embassy of Pakistan to France in partnership with a French non-governmental organization “Together for Human Development (EPDH)” has formally launched Urdu language learning classes for the French students of Pakistani origin and as well as students of other nationalities.
The Urdu classes were launched by the Ambassador of Pakistan to France Mr. Moin ul Haque during the annual Graduation Ceremony of students enrolled under learning and capacity building program of EPDH held near Paris today.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Jean-Louis MARSAC, Mayor of Villiers-Le Bel, French Officials, members of the French civil society, notable of Pakistan community and media persons.
The Ambassador while addressing the ceremony said that Urdu language classes was a long-standing demand of the Pakistan community which was finally met by the joint efforts of the Embassy and the EPDH.
He appreciated Ms. Naghmana Kayani, a French national of Pakistan origin and President of the EPDH for her important role in this project.
He hoped that children of many Pakistani families living in France would benefit from these classes. Later, the Ambassador presented sets of Urdu text book to EPDH and also gave away prizes to the high achievers of EPDH.=DNA
