Our govt’s policies revolve around poverty alleviation: PM
ISLAMABAD, MAR 11 (DNA) – Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Monday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government’s policies revolve around poverty alleviation.
The PM was addressing a press conference where he said that the government has always priortised the underprivileged class when it came to formulating policies.
He said that there is a special package for the erstwhile Federally Administered Tribal Areas. “This is just a beginning, now the poor won’t only get homes but livelihood too,” said PM Imran.
He said that the government has decided that it will ask developers from the private sector for commercial setup in slums. PM Imran said that the profit will be utilized in building flats and providing facilities.
He said that as per new urban planning, cities will not expand in a sprawling manner but through high-rise buildings. =DNA
