Tariq Fatemi again appointed SAPM

ISLAMABAD – The government on Monday appointed Tariq Fatemi as the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister. A notification of the appointment of Mr Fatemi has been issued. According to the notification, the appointment has been made on the approval of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his position would be equivalent to the minister of state. Mr Fatemi was appointed SAPM on Foreign Affairs, however, his appointment was revoked the very next day. He has also served as the special assistant to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

Veteran journalist Abul Hassan Naghmi dies at 92

WASHINGTON, DEC 12 (DNA) — Senior journalist, broadcaster and writer Abul Hassan Naghmi died at the age of 92 in the United States on Monday. Abul Naghmi had been living in the United States for the last 50 years.
