4,858 fine tickets issued over causing environmental pollution

ISLAMABAD, NOV 07 (DNA) — Islamabad Capital Police issued 4858 fine tickets to vehicles over causing environmental pollution and using pressure horns during the last 06 months in the federal capital, a police public relations officer said. He said that, following the special directions of IGP Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, Islamabad capital police has intensified the crackdown against vehicles causing environmental pollution and using pressure horns. During the last 06 month Islamabad capital police issued fine tickets to 2,348 vehicles for using pressure horns and 2510 vehicles for smoke-emitting.Read More

Pakistan, EU agree to make joint efforts for combating effects of climate change
