WHO endorses world’s first malaria vaccine for African children

The World Health Organization has endorsed the world’s first malaria vaccine for African children. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus called it “a historic moment” after a meeting in which two of the U.N. health agency’s expert advisory groups recommended the step. He said children across Africa are to be vaccinated against malaria in the fight against the deadly disease.


President promulgates National Accountability (Amendment-II) Ordinance 2021

Islamabad : President Dr Arif Alvi has promulgated National Accountability (Amendment-II) Ordinance 2021 under Article 89 of the Constitution. Under the said Ordinance, Section 4 of the Ordinance 1999 has been amended and the President in consultation with the Chief Justice of Pakistan will establish accountability courts in the country. Pakistan Surpasses Grim Milestone Of 28,000 Deaths By Covid-19

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reported 46 more COVID-19 related deaths over the past 24 hours, lifting the overall death toll to 28,032. According to the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC), 1,453 new infections were registered after 51,343 tests during the said period. After the emergence of 1,453 new infections, the total number of confirmed cases in the country has jumped to 1,255,321.
