U.S. announces reward $4m for senior AQAP leader

The United States has announced four million dollars reward for arrest of senior al-Qaeda leader Ibrahim Ahmed Mahmoud al-Qosi. The State Department has announced it would provide the reward in return for information on the further identification or location of Ibrahim Ahmed Mahmoud al-Qosi.


Egypt’s Sisi opens naval base close to border with Libya

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi inaugurated a large naval base on the Mediterranean Sea close to border with Libya today (Sunday). The ceremony was also attended by Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, and by the chairman of Libya’s Presidential Council Mohamed al-Menfi.
