Completion of 200 cochlear implant, remarkable achievement of AMC

RAWALPINDI: A special ceremony was held at Army Medical College Rawalpindi to mark completion of 200 cochlear implants. Surgeon General of Pakistan Army Lieutenant General Nigar Johar, graced the occasion as chief guest. The first successful cochlear implant was carried out in 2017. On the direction of Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa the facility was further extended to children born with hearing disability. CDA to install modern LED lights in Islamabad streets

DNA ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to convert all the existing street lights of the Federal Capital from sodium lights to modern LED lights. This decsion of conversion will  not only make maintenance of street lights easy but will also save electricity cost. Russia lifts ban on import of rice from Pakistan
