Chinese envoy hails signing of water usage agreements for CPEC Kohala Hydro power project

ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of China to Pakistan Nong Rong Thursday congratulated on the signing of implementation and water usage agreements for 1124 MW Kohala Hydro power project. In his tweet he said the project that is being executed under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was signed between Azad Jammu and Kashmir government and China Three Gorges Company.“Its total investment is 2.4 bn USD and its average annual power generation will be 5.149 bn kWh”, he added.

New initiative to enable Pakistani SMEs to engage in Int’l Markets

GENEVA/ISLAMABAD: A new initiative that will enable small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan to effectively engage in international markets was launched today. This UK-funded initiative will help enhance Pakistan’s trade diversification and integration into global value chains.
