Weekly inflation up 0.45 pc as food prices continue to rise

ISLAMABAD, Oct 17 (DNA): Weekly inflation for the combined group during the period ended on October 15 increased by 0.45 per cent to 9.20 per cent year-on-year basis due to rising prices of essential food items, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS). Country’s foreign direct investment falls by 24pc

KARACHI, Oct 17 (DNA): The country’s trade deficit soared to $5.8 billion in the first quarter of the current fiscal year, according to data shared by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
