PN, RN conduct naval exercise white star 2020

ISLAMABAD, AUG 28 (DNA) – Pakistan Navy (PN) and Royal Navy (RN) UK, conducted bilateral Naval exercise WHITE STAR 2020 in North Arabian Sea and Passage Exercise in Gulf of Aden. In exercise WHITE STAR 2020 at North Arabian sea, Pakistan Navy Ships ZULFIQUAR and DEHSHAT, PN Aviation fixed and rotary aircraft and PAF JF-17 fighter participated with Royal Navy Ship HMS ARGYLL. PIA, NHA signed two traffic projects with Chinese enterprises

landmine blasts kill 13 Civilians in Kandahar

DNA KABUL, AUG 28 –  At least 13 people killed and three more wounded in two separate land mine blasts in southern Kandahar province on Friday. A spokesperson for the provincial governor Bahir Ahmad Ahmadi said that the first blast occurred at around 9 a.m in Patan Khel area in Spin Boldak district of Kandahar.   He added that 12 civilians were killed as their vehicle hit a roadside mine in the area.
