Second Chinese consignment of 50,000 testing kits reach Karachi

ISLAMABAD, Mar 27 (DNA):A second plane carrying 50,000 testing kits for coronavirus and medical equipment donated by private Chinese companies have reached Karachi. According to NDMA spokesperson, the consignment carrying testing kits and medical was the second tranche of medical goods sent by Jack Ma Foundation.

Pakistan’s first coronavirus patient wants people to practice social distancing

KARACHI, MAR 27 (DNA) – Yahya Jaffery is the first Pakistani to have been diagnosed with the coronavirus and successfully recover from it. The Karachi resident is a university student who had tested positive after arriving from Iran on February 20. He believes he contracted the virus while visiting shrines in the cities of Qom, Mashhad or Tehran. Two coronavirus patients discharged in Skardu after recovering

SKARDU, MAR 27 (DNA) – Two more patients have been discharged in Skardu after they recovered from the coronavirus, revealed a Gilgit-Baltistan official. The two men had tested positive for coronavirus a few days ago and had been moved to an isolation ward in Skardu. They have since recovered and have now been sent home after the latest coronavirus test came back negative for both of them.
