Protest held in New York against India’s illegal annexation of IoK
NEW YORK – A large number of Kashmiris, Pakistanis and Sikhs protested in New York City’s iconic Times Square, against Indian illegal annexation of occupied Kashmir. Parliamentary elections kick off in Azerbaijan
BAKU, FEB 09 – Elections to the Azerbaijani parliament has today kicked off on Sunday. Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov declared that the polling stations are open from 08:00 (GMT +4) for voting. The Information Center of the Secretariat of the Central Election Commission will inform about the voting process and provide preliminary data at 10:00, 12:00, 15:00, 17:00 and 19:00. ISPR says Army Aviation pilots rescues foreign climbers
RAWALPINDI, FEB 09 (DNA) – Pakistan Army Aviation pilots rescued two foreign mountain climbers, Mr. Donald Allen Bowie (USA) and Ms. Lotta Henriikka Nakyva (Finland) from Broad Peak, Baltoro Glacier. These climbers were part of an International Winter Expedition attempting to summit Broad Peak but stranded enroute due to sickness.
