Imran Khan skips hearing of helicopter case

ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan on Wednesday has failed to appear before National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in a case regarding misuse of government helicopter. Sources told taht Imran Khan has excused himself from appearing in the bureau due to his busy election schedule. The NAB spokesman alleged Imran Khan of using Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s helicopter for 74 hours which costs national exchequer more than Rs2.1 million. “Khan used the helicopter to travel from Bani Gala to Kohat, Peshawar, Mardan, Batgram, Dir and Kamrat,” the spokesman added.Read More

Several shops destroyed as fire erupts at Islamabad bazaar

ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Dozens of shops were destroyed  as a fire broke  out at Sunday bazaar of Peshawar More, H-9 at around 12:40 pm on Wednesday. Long queues of vehicle are being witnessed at Kashmir highway as the firefighters rushed to extinguish the inferno . As many as 10 fire tenders from Rescue 1122 and Pakistan Navy rushed to the spot to douse the flames. Several teams of rescuers were also dispatched  the spot.
