Major power breakdown hits most parts of Punjab, KP, Balochistan
LAHORE, MAY 16 (DNA) – Most parts of Punjab, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa suffered a major power breakdown on Wednesday following technical fault in Tarbela, Muzaffargarh and Guddu power plant. According to spokesperson for power division, the power stations remained shut due to the fault, leaving a major part of the country without power. Punjab CM to inaugurate test run of Orange Line Train in Lahore today
LAHORE, MAY 16 (DNA) – Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif is all set to inaugurate the test run of Orange Line Train from Dera Gujran to Lakshmi Chowk on Wednesday. According to sources, Chief Engineer LDA Mazhar Hussain, project director and contractor company officials will also be present on the occasion to witness the test run. A ceremony would be held afterwards during which the project members will brief the Punjab CM.
