Protest continue in Kasur over rape, killing of minor
KASUR, JAN 11 (DNA) – Life in and around Kasur came to a grinding halt as protests by a mob angered over the recent rape and murder of a 7-year-old girl continued for the second day on Thursday. The violence which erupted in the city of Kasur after the rape and murder of an seven-year-old Zainab continued on the second day. Zainab laid to rest amid tears, grief in Kasur
KASUR (DNA) – Seven-year-old Zainab, who was raped and murdered by an unidentified person, was laid to rest amid tears and grief at the Khawaja Sahib Graveyard in Kasur on Wednesday night. Her funeral prayer was attended by family members, relatives and hundreds of residents of Kasur. Zainab was kidnapped six days ago from Road Kot when her parents left for Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah. The girl was strangled to death after being raped.
