Plant a green hope’, young women make it happen despite of rain

==== 5TH National Women at Work Festival kicked off ISLAMABAD, MAR 06 (DNA) -The 5th National Women at Work Festival kicked off Sunday with an event entitled ‘plant a green hope’, a tree-plantation drive at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST).The event was organized in connection with the festival, an annual public advocacy and outreach event of the Development Communications Network (Devcom-Pakistan) to commemorate the International Women’s Day. The tree-plantation was supported by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Institute of Environmental Sciences and Engineering (IESE).


Malaysian artists present mesmerizing performance

ISLAMABAD, MAR 06 (DNA) – Artist from Malaysia gave a mesmerizing performance during Sabah Cultural Night held at a local hotel. The Malaysian High Commission hosts such cultural nights on annual basis. The Assistant Tourism Minister from Malaysia was the chief guest. The Malaysian High Commissioner Dr. Hasrul Sani Mujtabar in his brief remarks highlighted the importance of the event. He said, tourism contributed greatly to Malaysian economy. He recognized the services of all those who had augmented Malaysian High Commission for promotion of bilateral relations.


Uninterrupted talks b/w India Pakistan needed for regional stability, says envoy

JAIPUR: Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit stressed the need for uninterrupted talks between Pakistan and India for peace and regional stability. Basit, while addressing a function in Jaipur, said dialogue is the only way to improve ties between Pakistan and India.
