Kanwal Shauzab made parliamentary secretary Planning

ISLAMABAD, SEPT 07 (DNA) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed Kanwal Shauzab PTI leader and MNA as Parliamentary Secretary for Planning.

A notification has also been issued in this regard. Kawal Shauzad is a die-hard party worker and contributed a lot in dissemination of PTI’s message at the doorsteps of all and sundry.

Kanwal Shauzab a social scientist, a researcher, social worker and & a political activist with an aspiration to contribute to the human, social and economic development of the masses, has become Member of National Assembly of Pakistan. Kanwal is a die-hard Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf worker and has been elected on reserved seats for women.

She has diverse educational and professional skills including interior designing, media management/PR and political activism.

Kanwal did her M.Phil from Quaid-e-Azam University (NIPS). She did Masters in English Literature and Linguistics from National University of Modern Languages-

She contested Senate elections 2018 as PTI Candidate on General Seat from Federal Capital Islamabad, Serving PTI as President Women Wing PTI North Punjab Region (since October 2017) with Additional charge of Deputy Secretary Information, working as Coordinator for South Punjab from 2014 till 2015, worked as Central Media Coordinator for PTI in 2011-2013.

As a social scientist and social activist, she conducted many trainings voluntarily focusing on training women both in urban and rural areas of PTI South and North Punjab respectively and Islamabad region.

She also worked as Chief Coordinator with South Asian Federation of Exchanges SAFE for their initiative Women ON Boards. The initiative was to help promote the role and overall representation of Women on the Boards of Directors of companies.

Kanwal is also part of Pakistan Romania Forum (PRF). The PRF is contributing to promotion of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Romania.=DNA
