China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan railway to increase exports from SCO countries
BISHKEK, JUN 11 (DNA) – China, Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway will increase the export potential of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries.
The President of the Kyrgyz Republic Soorobai Jeenbekov stated the day before at the meeting of the Council of Heads of SCO countries.
According to him, it is necessary to take effective measures for the practical integration of One Belt One Road initiative with the Eurasian Economic Union.
The entry into force of the Agreement on the creation of favorable conditions for international road transport is of great importance for us.
At the same time, we need to accelerate the adoption of the Program for the development of roads to improve transport accessibility and optimize transport links,explained Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
He added that Kyrgyzstan was interested in the soonest launch of the railway construction project, which would significantly enhance the transit and export potential of the SCO countries.=DNA
